The book starts out with a missing person, the wife of the protagonist and then he leads us through a search to find his wife After this we are off and running with an OCD protagonist.One of the antagonists is psychotic Borderline who becomes quite dangerous. This Medical mystery involves several locales, and twists, and turns, that keep us up reading into the night. The medical aspects are quite enjoyable to me because I'm an M.D. and know that he made sure the information was accurate. This is a very enjoyable read and will take you away on a vacation into another world.Product details

Dr. Michael Rushnak’s book “Unseen Shadows” is a marvelous medical mystery, which one will find a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The book incorporates the elements of a mystery which depicts the forces of evil trying to eliminate the good that can benefit mankind.
Dr. Rushnak's medical knowledge of health and science shows the futuristic possibility of a longer lifespan. The main character, Dr. Brandon Kiefer is depicted as an extraordinary individual who has an amazing strength of character as he tries to achieve a more promising future in conquering diseases that shorten the lifespan of individuals.
Dr. Rushnak’s medical expertise is exemplified as he describes that work of Dr. Brandon Kiefer. Although he is a brilliant scientist with a great deal of service that he can offer to the world in conquering disease, but must deal with his personal life filled with much tragedy. He must cope with death as well as learning about the people who are his adversaries. Also, he must cope with his feelings of loss and disappointment, and must come to terms with the existing situations.
As the book draws to a climax, we see that hope evolves for Dr. Kiefer, and a better future for all mankind.
My mistake was thinking that Unseen had anything to do with the medical trilogy. I knew it was a completely different book yet I was still wanting more from the others. Once I got past that notion I was captivated by this book. I love the fact that one of the certain and perhaps the most powerful character is Hannah an African American congresswoman. This book is not about race, it is about friendship and the depths that friends go out on a limb or not for friends.
The book made me wonder about what is currently going on behind the scenes in our current government. Unseen Shadows is a page turner.
Let me start out by saying that this book is truly amazing. From the very first page - all the way to the end, I couldn’t read it fast enough. Great story line and well developed characters. This excellent book comes on the heels of Dr. Rushnak's fabulous trilogy "The Health Club Mysteries." Every book has been a pleasure to read. Dr. Rushnak's medical thriller books are some of the best medical mysteries I've ever read and I've read a lot over the years! I finished reading, Unseen Shadows! Amazing, twisting plot. Pure Michael Rushnak, as he wrote the fantastic, Medical Mystery Trilogy!
Unseen Shadows had me guessing who was who and what were they up to. Were certain characters good guys or bad? It again, typical with Rushnak's writing to keep you on the edge of your seat, throughout the but up until the end of the book!!! I enjoy his work and look forward to reading his next book. This is another winner, for me.
All I'll say is think about extending life by decades and how to do it??? I you don't know the answer, even more of a reason to read this unbelievably fantastic book! It's happening already, in 2013!
Dr. Michael Rushnak has earned his place as the premiere medical thriller author. His latest book, Unseen Shadows, takes the reader on a roller coaster ride that never lets up. Kiefer becomes unsure of his circle of friends and even his family as his research progresses. He feels the need to protect his friends from unseen shadows and becomes their target himself. The conflict and tension rise and become unrelenting.
The characters are fully developed and come alive as people you and I might actually know. Naomi is a physically powerful woman who brings an incredible sexual tension to the story. Kiefer's wife abandons him and returns with lame explanations. Just as you think you have the mystery solved, it gets more intense and arouses all your emotions.
I have read so many mysteries and I love medical thrillers more than ever. I look forward to reading Dr. Michael Rushnak's next instalment. This book makes a great gift. Read it today and buy one for a friend.
Brandon Kiefer is a brilliant research scientist in the field of Gerontology. Working on a top secret plan funded by private individuals to uncover the secret to take a disease that is currently incurable; such as Huntington’s disease which is genetically transmitted. Dr. Kiefer is attempting to alter the genetic process to correct these types of diseases and allow people to go on living full productive lives.
Important people on the hill are murdered and it seems to be tied to his project. After being a referred to as a heretic on national television by a priest, it isn't too long after that his own project is shut down by the government!
His wife Allie talks him into going to London where things begin to go terribly wrong! “Unseen Shadows” becomes a thriller in every sense of the word! Murder, kidnapping, torture are only the beginning. This is a must read book and I hope Michael Rushnak has plans to do a follow-up on this book! I have to know what happens! This is definitely a book that is ready to be made into a movie!
